Bite Juicy Meatball @ Ikea Mutiara Damansara

Ikea was the first store I went when I had my first visit to this KL city. I think I was 15. Ikea does, impress me by its simple-designed and friendly used furniture which comprise from home until office needs. But I  never thought that Ikea is one of food spot that people are willing to line-up and wait for.

Swedish beef meatball is the signature dish at Ikea food court. Meatballs are made from minced beef, served with thick gravy from beef stock, and lingonberry jam with thick cut fries. Firstly, I love the thick sauce, well-matched with the meatball. And secondly, I wonder about the mix and match of the sweet lingonberry jam with salted gravy.  Both combination looks weird, but in another way, they are special and good to try. If you are beef lover, you can go for it.If you are non-beefeater, they do serve spaghetti, snack like chicken wing and salad, dessert and on on. Daim cake gets positive review from food bloggers.

Swedish meatballs with fries (RM 8.90 for 10 pieces)

Photographed at Ikea Mutiara Damansara with boyfriend on March ago, 2o13. Salivary gland is stimulated when I'm writing this post. Bite the juicy meatball.

Sg. Palas Boh Tea Garden, Cameron Highlands

Taking break with fresh and an amazing nature scenery always is my ideal travel. Nature can bring unlimited peace and tranquility to my heart, soul and mind. It definitely is a temporary good escape for people like me who live and work under stress in city. Come out of the town to feel what I felt at Sg. Palas Boh Tea Plantation, one of my favorite spot in Cameron Highlands.
Along the way from Tapah to Cameron highlands, there are main tea plantation dominating the valley in Cameron Highlands- Habu Tea Plantation in Ringlet, Bharat Tea Plantation in Tanah Rata and Sungai Palas Tea Plantation in Brinchang.

I had chance to visit Bharat and Sg. Palas Tea Plantation. I love the one at Sg. Palas very much because it is isolated from main road, a nice place to set ourselves free from crowd. While Bharat Tea Plantation is setting at the main roadside. That place was crowded with tourists and bus during holiday season. Parking is a main problem if you want to drop by. Most of the car had illegal park at roadside and I'm highly not encourage it to avoid unfortunate summon. I didn't visit to Habu tea house. But from what I saw from its signboard when I passed by, Habu is same like Sg. Palas center which need drive up to reach it.
We assessed to Sg. Palas tea garden by a narrow route which is shared by two-ways vehicle, passing by private bungalow, forests and farm. A large signboard can be seen at the entrance where nearby and before to the Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee farm.
If you want take scenery photos at the roadside, you need to find a slightly wider road to stop.
Well, here's the place to save your air-con and wind down your car's window safely to feel breeze and fresh air.
A spacious parking area is provided underneath of the hill. We walked up to tea center by paved road or trail though a tea garden that climbs across the slop.
Enter to tea center, tea cafe is at the left side while right side leads to tea shop and exhibition gallery.
i love this corner seat. It is closest to the-only-green view and most important, I can conquer this corner area to freely enjoy my photography.
We ordered two teapots of Boh tea and a slice of butter lemon cake. Total costs RM13.
Besides tea house and tea shop, there is a tea factory at the next building. We can watch how is the tea process and produce stage by stage.
Morning sun imbues the green leaves with a golden gleam, that's why I like to come here on early morning.

The Way We Travel

One thing that I like about boyfriend and I in managing our relationship is, although we are being apart between two countries, we still can make a short trip happen in the way we want. So far, boyfriend and I enjoy cuti-cuti (holiday) in Malaysia. Oversea might be next and later if we save enough money. I believe dream will come true if we work harder for it.
Travel is like studying for exam. Many reading are needed for a D.I.Y trip. In our recent trip to Cameron Highlands in Pahang, we started from studying Cameron Highlands' map (from cameronhighlandinfo.com), identifying the route to reach Cameron from KL, looking for nice hotel in reasonable price (via booking.com, tripadvisor, asiaroom, and agoda) until spotting good food and tourist places from travel and food blogs (blog review helps a lot). Although pre-travel takes time to get details, it is fun in communication and we explore till we know an unfamiliar or unknown place more and better.
A journey is the best measured in our relationship, rather than miles. I love the chemical that we have along the ways.

p/s: so, where's next?

520 Taken by Surprise。Instax Camera

I clearly know what is the feeling of surprise today! It 's a pleasant reaction which happen out of control with dropped jaw, happy jump and shout. OMG, I never ever dream and expect to have a pinky fujifilm instax mini 8 as my teacher's day present.  Awesome feeling.

And it is proudly to share that the gift is given by my headmaster as a replacement gift. He knows my lucky draw number was the only one which left out to draw and call during the teacher's day dinner on Friday night. At the same way, the gift inspire and remind me something about attitude between superordinate and subordinate and also teacher and students, It's Sincerity. Thankful.

520. Oh Love!

Dinner @ Victoria Station

Boyfriend and I always say that, "We save a lot money in our long-distance relationship by only using free social network to reach each other everyday." Less international billing. We keep and spend the money for movie, food and travel in our date. So, it's affordable and reasonable to pamper ourselves in luxury dinner sometime.

Victoria Station is a restaurant that serve western food and steak particularly. It is same as other steak house like The Ship and TGIF which also concern their interior ambiance for to enjoy the entire dinner.

Dim lighting, well-equipped table setting and also smart-looking waiter and waitress with bow tie are necessary details in this kind of restaurant.
Sorry to say, I'm still confused how to utilise each of them for different dishes.
Garlic Cheesy VS Escargots..Slurp
my beef steak and his lamb steak.
We prefered the hot plate steak from next tables. They are attractive in visual, aural and smell compared with ours.
